Singer-songwriter Jaguar Wright accused superstar power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé of abuse on Piers Morgan’s ‘Uncensored’ program this week. She tried to link them to Sean Diddy Combs, alleging they also had “hundreds” of victims. Piers Morgan has issued an apology.
After being acquitted at his sexual assault trial in Haileybury Ontario, Jacob Hoggard, former frontman for Hedley, has abandoned the Supreme Court appeal of his Toronto sex assault conviction.
The Big Bang Theory spinoff show has added three cast members from the original series. Entertainment Weekly has learned that Kevin Sussman, Lauren Lapkus and Brian Posehn all have holding deals in place to reprise their roles. They played Stuart, his girlfriend Denise and Bert the geologist on the original series.
Coming to Netflix today, Anna Kendrick has a new movie called ‘Woman of the Hour.’ She directs and stars in the stranger-than-fiction true story of Cheryl Bradshaw and Rodney Alcala. She was a bachelorette on the hit ’70s show The Dating Game. He was a contestant… oh, AND a serial killer.
And ‘Lonely Planet’ is a steamy May-December romance with a twist. It stars Laura Dern and Liam Hemsworth whose characters meet at a writers retreat in Morocco.
In theatres, ‘The Apprentice’ stars Sebastian Stan as Donald Trump… ‘Piece By Piece’ follows the life and career of singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams through the lens of Lego animation. He and many other artists lend their voices to the project.
And the SNL movie ‘Saturday Night’ comes out in wide release, 49 years to the day after the first episode of SNL aired. This weekend, Ariana Grande hosts SNL with Stevie Nicks as musical guest… I bet they sing together!
