Mornings

For Monday, January 20th:

At the Box Office, the girl buddy comedy ‘One of Them Days’ with SZA and Keke Palmer narrowly beat ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ at the weekend box office, earning just $11.6 million to take the top spot. ‘Wolf Man’ with Julia Garner and Christopher Abbott managed only a third place start.

A big fundraising concert is in the works to benefit the victims of the California wildfires. Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Jelly Roll, Tate McRae, No Doubt, Katy Perry, Alanis Morissette will take to the stage, and Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, and more are also on the schedule. The FireAid Benefit Concert was originally slated to take place at the Intuit Dome on Jan. 30, but will now also include nearby Inglewood venue The Forum.

Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney, Eva Longoria, Shawn Marion, Justin Verlander, Kate Upton and Scott Galloway bought a soccer team. They’ve joined forces to invest in La Equidad in Bogota, Colombia. Last year Reynolds and McElhenney also bought a minority stake in a Mexican team, and while they sold their share of the Welsh club in Wrexham, they *are* part owners of the beer brand Wrexham Lager.

ICYMI: Netflix has announced that the final season of YOU will hit the streamer on April 24th…to the last breath.

And Superman is now Super Dad! Henry Cavill and his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso have welcomed their first child. No additional details have been shared.
