Celebrity Status – Razzies, Wildfire Relief, And Baby Biebs
For Wednesday, January 22nd:
Sometimes it’s NOT an honor just to be nominated. Joker 2: Folie a Deux, Megalopolis, and Borderlands will battle it out for worst of the year at this year’s Golden Raspberry Awards. “Madame Web,” “Reagan” and Jerry Seinfeld’s “Unfrosted” also rank among the most-nominated movies. Individual Razzie nominees include Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Dakota Johnson, Cate Blanchett and Dennis Quaid.
Chris Brown has filed a $500M Defamation Lawsuit Against Warner Bros. Discovery Over Sexual Assault Claims in a Documentary. He takes issue with an accuser stating that he raped her, as well as the implication that he has a “predisposition for punching women in the face.”
If you were worried for Justin and Hailey Bieber’s marriage, don’t be. He IS still following her on Instagram… whew! AND they let us see the back of baby Jack’s head in a photo. Seriously though, kudos to them for maintaining a strict level of privacy for him.
Sphere Media, a Canadian TV and film producer, has secured the rights to ‘Dancing With Diana: A Memoir’ by Scottish/Canadian dancer Anne Allan, who was Princess Diana‘s top secret dance teacher. The memoir is now being turned into a documentary
Ryan Gosling is headed to a galaxy far, far away. He is in negotiations to star in a Star Wars feature project that will be directed by Deadpool & Wolverine filmmaker Shawn Levy. No word on a release date.
And Bill Burr and Shane Gillis are the comedians performing at the Wildfire Relief Comedy Show. The event will take place on Monday; tickets are on sale now.
