“The Bodyguard”, which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, is getting a remake. According to Deadline, Sam Wrench—who directed the ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ documentary—will lead the project, which of course has the internet thinking that Taylor will star. Who knows?
Ryan Coogler‘s movie Sinners is still doing well in theatres, and his planned reboot of The X-Files already has Agent Scully’s stamp of approval. While doing press for her upcoming movie ‘The Salt Path,’ Gillian Anderson said that she told him, “Call me.”
At the movies this weekend, Marvel is ushering in a new era of superhero action with a group of antiheroes. “Thunderbolts*” stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and more.
Alec Baldwin’s ‘Rust’ is also in theatres this weekend, along with ‘Salvable’ starring Shia Laboeuf as an ageing boxer and Nicolas Cage in the psychological thriller ‘The Surfer’
