Mornings

For Thursday, June 5th:

The Toronto International Film Festival will kick off its 50th edition with ‘John Candy: I Like Me’ a heartfelt documentary dedicated to the life and career of the late Canadian comedic icon. Directed by Colin Hanks and produced by Ryan Reynolds, it will feature stories and memories from Candy’s family, closest friends, and longtime collaborators. TIFF gets underway Sept. 4

Jimmy Buffett‘s widow has filed a petition to remove the co-trustee of the late singer’s $275 million estate, claiming that he has failed to act in her best interests. Jane Buffett is seeking to remove Richard A. Mozenter from his role, claiming that he has been “openly hostile and adversarial” towards her. Jimmy and Jane were married for 46 years when he died in Sept. 2023.

Blue Rodeo “Lost Together” – The 40th Anniversary Tour begins this fall in Western Canada before making its way across the country for 27 concert dates. Between October and January, they will perform in various Ontario locations, including Barrie, Hamilton, London and Toronto’s Massey Hall.

The official trailer for ‘Wicked: For Good’ is out now… with flying monkeys, a wizard and witches, oh my! The film hits theaters on Nov. 21… and ‘Enola Holmes 3’ is coming soon to Netflix, starring Millie Bobby Brown

And Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin have broken up–again — after 8 Years together. A source told People that the split “feels final this time.”
