While plans for a Patty Jenkins-directed Wonder Woman 3 with Gal Gadot have been scrapped, it doesn’t mean the Amazon superheroine won’t be back in the DC universe. James Gunn, the writer/director of “Superman” and the co-head of DC Studios, has said that a third Wonder Woman movie is already in the works. It could be a couple of years before anything happens though and the title role has not yet been cast.
