In theatres this weekend look for ‘Materialists,’ starring Dakota Johnson as a matchmaker who finds herself in a love triangle with a wealthy bachelor and her ex, played by Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans. Also in theatres, Tom Hiddleston plays the title role in ‘The Life of Chuck,’ a sort of sci-fi drama.
But it’s the live action remake of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ that’s expected to be the movie of the weekend. Estimates are saying it could bring in $80 million. Gerard Butler stars along with Nick Frost and Nico Parker, the daughter of Thandiwe Newton.
Elsewhere, Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney star as mother and daughter in the drama ‘Echo Valley’ on Apple TV+… And they’re trading the trailer park for the correctional facility! Longtime pals Ricky, Julian and Bubbles are back in ‘Trailer Park Boys: Jail’ coming to Netflix today.

And Sabrina Carpenter’s new album cover is sparking controversy, with some saying she’s set back feminism by decades and others who say it’s satirical and she’s all in on the joke. Her new album is called ‘Man’s Best Friend’.
