For the new season of Bachelor in Paradise: Not only will former fan favorites from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette be looking for love, but you will also see some from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette. What will that look like, exactly? We’re not sure, but filming is currently underway in Costa Rica. It premieres Monday, July 7th on ABC.
Sabrina Carpenter’s new single “Manchild” has entered the singles chart at No. 1 as her first No. 1 debut. She previously hit No. 1 with “Please Please Please,” from her Grammy-winning “Short n’ Sweet” album, which spent a week at the top of the chart this time last year. Her new album “Man’s Best Friend” drops Aug. 29.
Netflix has acquired the legal drama “Monsanto” from this year’s Cannes Film Festival. “Monsanto” tells the true story of young upstart lawyer Brent Wisner, who took on the court case against the giant U.S. chemical company on behalf of Dewayne “Lee” Johnson. It stars Glen Powell, Anthony Mackie and Laura Dern
And Justin Bieber very publicly ended a friendship in a heated text exchange which he posted to social media. He didn’t say who this friend was but criticized them for their reaction to his anger, saying “Conflict is part of a relationship. If you don’t like my anger, you don’t like me.”
And Matthew Perry‘s doctor has agreed to plead guilty to ketamine charges in his death. Federal prosecutors said the plea carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison. Four of the five persons charged in his death have now pleaded guilty.
