At the movies, ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer.’ Nearly 20 years after the last movie in the franchise, there’s a new stalker and another group of friends. So yes, there are some new characters but Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt reprise their roles for this one too.
Also in theaters, Rihanna, John Goodman, James Corden, Dan Levy, and more lend their voices to the new animated Smurfs movie… and Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, Pedro Pascal, and Austin Butler star in ‘Eddington.’
And coming to Paramount+ today the movie ‘Red Right Hand’. Orlando Bloom is a reformed criminal trying to raise his niece, but is drawn back into a life of violence by his town’s sadistic kingpin played by Andie MacDowell.
In other headlines, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will come to an end in May of next year after 33 years. In a statement, CBS said it was “purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount.”
