
Celebrity Status – Lawsuits, A Game Show, And RIP Ozzy

Online tributes are everywhere for Rocker Ozzy Osbourne who passed away yesterday at the age of 76, just two weeks after his farewell show. He had been living with Parkinson’s for a number of years. May he Rock in Peace.
Katy Perry‘s team is fighting against a request for her ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom, to testify as part of the battle over a $15 million mansion, according to Us Weekly. The sale happened in 2020 but the seller, Carl Wescott, says he was taking painkillers at the time and then when he was no longer under their influence, he tried to back out of the deal. Katy is also claiming a couple million in damages for “loss of use” of the home.
Meanwhile English singer and actor FKA Twigs and Shia LaBeouf have agreed to settle her lawsuit out of court. The suit alleged LaBeouf was physically and emotionally abusive to her during their relationship. Her attorney filed a request in Los Angeles Superior Court this week to dismiss the case.
Harrison Ford gave an emotional speech on the last day of ‘Shrinking’ season 3 filming, saying “You guys are the best. The very, very best – at what you do, and how you do it, and how you make people feel.” When co-star Jason Segel agreed he deadpanned “I wasn’t talking to you.” No premiere date for season 3 has been announced just yet
Disney has unveiled the first trailer and poster for ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’…the third instalment in the epic sci-fi series opens in theatres on Dec. 19
And Martin Short hosts the season premiere of Match Game tonight. Four contestants compete to win $25,000 as they attempt to match answers given by celebrity panelists in a series of fill-in-the-blank questions. The original version began in 1962 with host Gene Rayburn.
