Mornings

For Friday, July 25th:

It has been a sad week with the loss of a few celebrities… the latest of which is Hulk Hogan. He was, and may very well always be, considered the biggest name in professional wrestling history. His career wasn’t without the odd scandal – steroids, a sex tape scandal and racism allegations — but there is no doubt that he revolutionized pro wrestling and managed to stay in the spotlight well past what some might have imagined. Hulk Hogan died of cardiac arrest at the age of 71

At the movies…Twenty years after the original franchise launched, The Fantastic Four are headed back to the big screen in ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ — this time with Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn is the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing.

Also in theaters, Molly Gordon (Claire on The Bear) and Logan Lerman star in the relationship dramedy ‘Oh, Hi!’… And on Netflix, almost 30 years after he won the Tour Championship in 1996, Adam Sandler is back on the links for ‘Happy Gilmore 2’. Look for cameos from Rory Mcllroy, Scottie Scheffler and former golfer Paige Spiranac along with Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny.

Shark Week continues with Great White Reign of Terror, Florida’s Death Beach and Bull Shark Showdown, all tonight on Discovery.

And there’s a new YouTube channel, Much Rewind, featuring classic MuchMusic content from the channel’s archive, including full interviews from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and 2000s. The initial videos posted feature Noel Gallagher, Eminem, Aaliyah, and Christina Aguilera.
