Taylor Swift has revealed her new album “The Life of a Showgirl” will be released on October 3, and unveiled the cover art and a tracklist that features Sabrina Carpenter on the title song.

Swift made the big reveal on her social media and during the Wednesday episode of the “New Heights Show” podcast, co-hosted by her Super Bowl Champion beau, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason. Her website is offering variants including “The Life of a Showgirl: Sweat and Vanilla Perfume” in glitter orange vinyl, deluxe CD and cassette. While the podcast aired, she debuted the deluxe album covers on her site.

Beyoncé has an Emmy to go with her 35 Grammys.

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, her legal name, was listed as one of a half dozen people on a team that won outstanding costumes for a variety, nonfiction or reality show for “Beyoncé Bowl,” her Western-themed halftime show on Netflix’s Christmas NFL game between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans.

The show in her hometown of Houston brought the live debut of songs from her “Cowboy Carter” album.

The special Emmy is Beyoncé’s first. She has been nominated for 10 others without a victory. And it takes her halfway to an EGOT with her 35 Grammys. She still needs a Tony and an Oscar to complete the quartet.

US President Donald Trump has named Sylvester Stallone, Kiss and more as the 2025 Kennedy Center honorees. He is also set to host the event.

Trump announced the news during a press conference at the performing arts center on Wednesday. Other honorees include country singer-songwriter George Strait, British actor and comedian Michael Crawford and singer Gloria Gaynor.

The annual Kennedy Center Honors traditionally takes place in Washington, D.C., in December and airs on CBS.

Netflix has released the trailer for “Steve,” starring Oscar winner Cillian Murphy.

Based on Max Porter’s 2023 novel “Shy,” the film “follows a pivotal day in the life of headteacher Steve (Murphy) and his students at a last-chance reform school amidst a world that has forsaken them.

“Steve” is releasing in select theaters Sept. 19 and on Netflix Oct. 3.

Variety has learned that a film is in the works that will tell the story of the early life and career of the iconic Irish musician, who died in 2023 at the age of 56.
