Celebrity Status – Charlie Sheen, Hilary Duff And A Mormon Wives Bachelorette
For Wednesday, September 10th:
Taylor Frankie Paul from “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is the new Bachelorette. It’s the first time in the show’s history that the leading lady has come from outside the franchise. The single mom of three will hand out roses in season 22, coming next year. In the meantime, you can familiarize yourself with the new Bachelorette on the third season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiering November 13th.
(Side note: a couple of her castmates will be competing on DWTS starting September 16th.)
Charlie Sheen gets real in his new two-part documentary, ‘aka Charlie Sheen’ arriving on Netflix today. He lays it all out there, saying nothing is off limits. coincidentally (or not) his new memoir, The Book of Sheen, came out yesterday.
Dwayne Johnson was at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote his movie Smashing Machine where he transformed into MMA wrestler Mark Kerr, but he says he’s now shedding pounds to play a 70-yr-old man whose best friend is a chicken in a film called Lizard Music
James McAvoy was punched in a bar in Toronto while in the city for the Festival. A patron who’d had too many was being escorted out and lashed out randomly as he went by.
And Hilary Duff will release a new album. And perform live. No word just yet when those things are happening, although she is in the studio now. What we do know is she will document it all in a new multipart series.
