Celebrity Status – A Baby, A Box Office, And Sabrina On SNL
For Monday, October 20th:
Sabrina Carpenter pulled double duty as host and musical guest on SNL and she dropped a couple of NSFW-bombs. She didn’t censor the lyrics of her song “Nobody’s Son” so some viewers heard it bleeped and some just heard it.
At the box office, the horror sequel ‘Black Phone 2’ dialed up a No. 1 opening with $26.5 million in ticket sales. “Tron: Ares” brought in just over $11 million in its second weekend, which was enough to snag second place. All other new movies had weak openings.
In other movie news, Elsa and Anna will take Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven for another adventure! Kristen Bell has confirmed that Frozen 3 begins production soon and is scheduled for release in November 2027. AND a fourth Frozen movie is reportedly in development.
And if you want a free peek at a bald Emma Stone in her latest movie Bugonia, all you have to do is shave your head. There will be a special early screening today in Los Angeles, and anyone who wants to enter the auditorium to see the movie must already be bald OR be willing to have an on-site barber shave their head at the door.
ICYMI: The Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas returned to W Network and STACKTV last Friday. The 10+ weeks will feature 28 movie premieres and six series premieres.
