Celebrity Status – Kelce, K-Pop, Wicked, And Bon Jovi On Tour

NFL star Travis Kelce is adding yet another promising gig to his résumé. In addition to podcasting, a little bit of TV and movie acting, plus his own Steakhouse, he is now partnering with investment firm Jana partners to get into the amusement park business. That’s right, the soon to be Mr. Taylor Swift will own an estimated 9% stake in the Six Flags Entertainment Corp.
Bon Jovi announced yesterday that they will embark on a limited stadium tour next July, titled the “Bon Jovi Forever Tour.” It’s the band’s first official tour since lead singer Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal cord surgery in 2022. They’ll perform four nights at Madison Square Garden in NYC and one night each in Edinburgh, Dublin, and London. Fan pre-sale begins on Monday, with general ticket sales on Oct. 31.
‘Wicked: One Wonderful Night’ is a two-hour TV special celebrating the music of Wicked, coming to NBC on November 6th. Elphaba and Glinda, aka Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, are headlining the special, and will perform numerous songs from the films. Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, and Bowen Yang will also perform. The special was filmed last month in LA.
On streaming… Nobody Wants This season 2 comes to Netflix today, and as Adam Brody and Kristen Bell previously told Entertainment Weekly, the biggest moments of season 2 may NOT center around their characters’ romance. And if you’re still watching The Kardashians, they are back too for season 17,604!
And Netflix has teamed up with Mattel and Hasbro for ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Toys, Games and Products. The two toy companies have been named co-licensees for the franchise, with plans to roll out a slew of products throughout 2026.
