The first look at Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid is here!
In the brief teaser clip, which premiered at Disney’s D23 Expo, we finally get to see Halle Bailey as Ariel! Opening with an under the sea shot, the trailer quickly takes us deeper into the water, panning across various underwater life as the first notes of “Part of Your World” begin to play.
After a brief fade to black, the trailer opens on Ariel seated at the bottom of the ocean, looking wistfully towards the surface. She sings just a brief snippet of “Part of Your World,” before the camera pans out, giving us a complete look at Halle in her Little Mermaid costume.
The movie comes out May 26. 2023.
