SERIES PREMIERE: THE WALKING DEAD: THE ONES WHO LIVE (9p ET, AMC) – Andrew Lincoln and Danai Guirira, who both left the original series well before it ended, reunite for this 6-episode spinoff that continues the romance between Rick Grimes and Michonne. Rick was presumed dead after a clash with a horde of walkers in season 9 but was actually picked up by an unknown militia with a helicopter. Michonne eventually left their crew when she discovered signs he had survived. Now, years later, their paths are destined to cross again. Terry O’Quinn, Lesley-Ann Brandt and Aaron Bachelor also star.

VIRGIN RIVER PREQUEL IN DEVELOPMENT AT NETFLIX _ Exciting news for fans of the hit Netflix series Virgin River: the streaming service is in the early stages of developing a prequel series that will delve into the lives of Mel’s parents. For those who may not know, Mel is one of the main characters in Virgin River, played by Alexandra Breckenridge.
… If the prequel series gets the green light, it will focus on Mel’s parents, Sarah Jensen and Everett Reed, played by John Allen Nelson. Viewers learned in the Season 6 finale that Everett is Mel’s biological father, adding an extra layer of drama to the show.

FRASIER REBOOT RENEWED _ The response to the reboot of the iconic show Frasier on Paramount+ has been solid, to almost everyone’s surprise. The renewal of the series for a second season has just been confirmed. In a statement, Kelsey Grammer expressed his joy at being able to continue the show, calling Frasier “a love story” that he’s thrilled to keep alive.
THE GENTLEMEN TRAILER _ Theo James, known for his role in White Lotus, faces a new challenge in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming Netflix series, The Gentlemen. In the trailer, James plays Eddie Horniman, a man who unexpectedly finds himself entangled in a cannabis empire in London. • TRAILER

TRUE DETECTIVE RENEWED FOR SEASON 5 _ HBO has give the green light to Season 5 of True Detective. The renewal follows the success of the fourth season, titled True Detective: Night Country.
THE BOYS SEASON 4 HAS RELEASE DATE _ After a two-year wait, fans of the hit Amazon Prime Video series The Boys can finally mark their calendars for the Season 4 premiere. The new season will kick off with three episodes on June 13, followed by weekly installments until the season finale on July 18.
EVA LONGORIA JOINS ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING SEASON 4 _ Eva Longoria has been confirmed to join the cast of the hit Hulu comedy series Only Murders in the Building for its upcoming Season 4. Longoria, known for her roles in shows like Desperate Housewives and Telenovela, will be appearing in a recurring role.

NIGEL LYTHGOE FACES ANOTHER SEXUAL ASSAULT SUIT _ American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe is facing another sexual assault accusation, this time from a new Jane Doe. The alleged incident took place in 2016, in a Beverly Hills hotel bar where Lythgoe reportedly assaulted the plaintiff in his chauffeured car against her wishes.
… The Jane Doe claims that the assault left her feeling violated, shocked, guilty, humiliated, and embarrassed. This marks the third sexual assault accusation against Lythgoe in recent months, with previous claims made by Paula Abdul and two other Jane Does.
