Jordan Peele’s UFO thriller “Nope” was a big ‘Yep’ at the box office in its first weekend with an estimated $44 million in ticket sales, pushing “Thor: Love and Thunder” to second place in its third weekend. And in Third place was “Minions: The Rise of Gru.”
Comic Con continued over the weekend, with tons of movie trailers released. The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer mourns Chadwick Boseman and almost reveals a new Black Panther…but not quite.
And Brad Pitt finally makes his Lego Masters debut in the season 3 trailer. Chris Pratt and NASCAR’s Jeff Gordon also appear in the clip.
