Celebrity Status – Wakanda, AMAs, Harry And Olivia, And The Golden Girls Of Football!

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever once again ruled the box office over the weekend with an additional $67.3 million in ticket sales. Horror comedy ‘The Menu’ was distant second with $9 million. and ‘She Said’ the movie about Harvey Weinstein and the #MeToo movement couldn’t crack the Top 5.
Meanwhile, Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn will keep running from monsters in A Quiet Place: Day One, a spin-off/prequel to the first two movies. Quinn will join Black Panther star and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o in the movie, coming early 2024.
In addition to the awards handed out last night, Pink delivered a heartwarming tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John during the 50th American Music Awards. Lionel Richie was the recipient of the Icon Award and the show was hosted by Wayne Brady, who paid tribute to Takeoff.
Michael J. Fox received an honorary Oscar on Saturday for his advocacy work with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research which has raised $1.5 billion since the year 2000. He has had Parkinson’s now for more than half his life.
Jane Fonda, Sally Field, Rita Moreno and Lily Tomlin all star in “80 For Brady” as super fans that go to the Super Bowl to see their football idol, Tom Brady himself, who also produces the movie. The trailer is out now and the full fun kicks off on Feb. 3.
