EUGENE AND DAN LEVY IN TALKS TO HOST 2024 EMMYS _ Eugene and Dan Levy, the dynamic father-son duo from the hit show “Schitt’s Creek,” are reportedly in discussions to host the 2024 Primetime Emmys on ABC. This potential hosting gig comes four years after their groundbreaking wins at the Emmy Awards in the same year.
… The pair previously co-hosted the 2020 SAG Awards. Eugene also made a memorable appearance on “Saturday Night Live” when Dan hosted in 2021.
COLIN JOST DEPARTS OLYMPICS GIG FOLLOWING FOOT INJURY _ Colin Jost’s journey to host the 2024 Olympic surfing competition in Tahiti took an unexpected turn when he encountered a series of unfortunate events. After injuring his foot on coral, Jost developed a staph infection, followed by an ear infection, turning his Olympic experience into a medical ordeal.

DAISY RIDLEY REVEALS GRAVES’ DISEASE DIAGNOSIS _ Daisy Ridley recently opened up about her battle with Graves’ disease. The actress, who stars in “Young Woman and the Sea,” shared that she was diagnosed with the autoimmune condition in September 2023. Initially, Ridley attributed her symptoms, including weight loss, fatigue, tremors, and a rapid heart rate, to feeling “annoyed at the world.”
… Graves’ disease is a condition that affects the thyroid, leading to an overactive thyroid gland. It is characterized by symptoms such as goiter, rapid and irregular heartbeat, weight loss, irritability, and often a slight protrusion of the eyeballs.

The “Greatest Showman” star reportedly dove in the pool, hit his chest on the bottom, and ingested a significant amount of water into his lungs. Despite initially appearing dazed, Efron reassured fans on Instagram that he is “happy and healthy” post-hospitalization.

PITBULL GETS NAMING RIGHTS DEAL AT FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY _ Miami’s Florida International University has made headlines with its announcement that the school’s football stadium will be rebranded as Pitbull Stadium, thanks to a deal with the iconic rapper and producer Pitbull, also known as “Mr. 305.” This marks the first time a musician will have a sports venue named after them.
… In exchange for a $1.2 million annual donation over the next five years, Pitbull will not only have the stadium named after him but will also have the opportunity to host 10 rent-free events every year, including concerts.
