TERROR PLOT THWARTS TAYLOR SWIFT’S VIENNA CONCERTS _ Taylor Swift’s concerts in Vienna have been canceled due to a terror threat. Two suspects were apprehended for allegedly plotting an attack on the pop star’s shows, leading authorities to take action to ensure the safety of concertgoers.
… A 19-year-old Austrian citizen was arrested in connection with the plot, with a second suspect also taken into custody. The suspects reportedly radicalized themselves online, with the 19-year-old allegedly pledging allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State. Vienna was the planned target of the attack, with a specific focus on Swift’s concerts.

STEVE MARTIN REJECTS PLAYING TIM WALZ ON SNL _ When Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris announced Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate, fans speculated that Steve Martin would portray him on Saturday Night Live. However, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Martin revealed he declined the offer.
… Martin confessed to not being an impressionist and felt someone who could truly capture Walz was needed. He said that his invitation to play Walz was based solely on his gray hair and glasses, rather than his ability to mimic the politician accurately.
