For Thursday, January 13th:
SAG Award nominations were announced yesterday and they were WILD. Kristen Stewart (thought to be the frontrunner for Spencer) was shut out, as was Rachel Zegler for West Side Story, Selena Gomez was not nominated for Only Murders in the Building but costars Steve Martin and Martin Short were. “House of Gucci,” “Belfast,” “CODA,” “Don’t Look Up” and “King Richard” were nominated in the ensemble film category, while the cast of Yellowstone made it into the TV ensemble category. Also for TV, Succession, Ted Lasso and Squid game earned multiple nods.
Yesterday, the Grammy bosses announced that this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony has been postponed indefinitely. It was scheduled for January 31st.
Meanwhile, Pete Davidson is reportedly being considered to host the 2022 Oscars, set to air on ABC on March 27th
Amy Schumer and Shirley Maclaine will join Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez for the second season of Only Murders in the Building. Cara delevigne was already announced as a new cast member for season 2
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly got Engaged…under the same banyan tree where they fell in love. And then they drank each other’s blood…. uh-huh.
And Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have split up after 16 years together. (So far, though, no intentional bloodshed there.)
