After more than 400 episodes, Sam Waterston is stepping down from his role as District Attorney Jack McCoy on NBC’s Law & Order. He will say goodbye on an episode set to air on Feb. 22nd. Meanwhile, Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T teamed up on the cover of Entertainment Weekly to celebrate 25 yrs of Law & Order: SVU
Apple TV+ just released the first trailer for the upcoming comedy series ‘Palm Royale’, set in the late 1960s, starring Kristen Wiig and Laura Dern. One reviewer says ‘Just give Wiig the Emmy now…’ The first three episodes will arrive on March 20th.
The Outlander prequel Blood of My Blood, has just started production. The series will focus on the lives of Jamie Fraser’s parents in the early 1700s, AND it will also explore the origin story of Claire’s parents after WWI. Season 7 of the original is expected to be back with the final 8 episodes later this year.
Sad news in the world of country music… Toby Keith passed away last night at the age of 62 after a battle with stomach cancer. He had been diagnosed in 2022.
ICYMI… Celine Dion and Taylor Swift are just fine, there was no snubbing at the Grammys. Some do speculate that Taylor’s new album title is a reference to her ex Joe Alwyn.
