Celebrity Status – J-Lo’s Office Romance And Shia’s Suspended Sentence
For Thursday, June 4th:
Brett Goldstein and Jennifer Lopez attended the Premiere for their new movie “Office Romance” Tuesday in New York, and on Today this week the two set the record straight — they are NOT dating, despite weeks of speculation. Goldstein said, “I think if you stand near her, that’s what happens.” Mind you, J-Lo did reveal last year that Goldstein was the best on-screen kiss she’d ever had. “Office Romance” comes to Netflix tomorrow.
Shia LaBeouf pleaded guilty this week to three misdemeanor charges of simple battery in that Mardi Gras incident where he was ejected from a New Orleans establishment and arrested for punching three men. He has been sentenced to two years of probation with a six-month suspended sentence.
Amazon MGM Studios has landed worldwide rights to The Kellys, a new action flick to star Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth. The film follows Jack Kelly, a disgraced NYC cop whose wife is taken hostage by terrorists… which means to save her he’ll have to join forces with the people he fears most — his family.
A trailer has been released for ‘Lucky,’ Apple TV’s upcoming limited series based on Marissa Stapley’s bestselling book of the same name. Reese Witherspoon is an executive producer and Anya Taylor-Joy will star.
